Summer workshop at Austin College (Sherman, TX)

Austin College, in Sherman, will offer its annual week-long summer institute for high school teachers of French, German, Latin and Spanish July 18-23, 2010. The Institute offers a language immersion experience for teachers and helps them share teaching ideas and materials. All costs of attending the Institute are provided to the accepted participants (room, board, materials); the teachers only need pay for their transportation to Sherman, which is 60 miles due north of Dallas.

Space is limited, so teachers are encouraged to apply early. The application postmark deadline is April 30. We encourage all interested language teachers to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to study with the Austin College faculty and enhance their language skills.
